Feds wrap up project meant to protect communities from Rio Grande bank erosion

CORRALES, N.M. (KRQE) – An evolving stretch of the Rio Grande flowing through the metro has put critical flood control systems and even homes at risk. It sparked a year-long construction project to protect nearby communities and the river's ecosystem.
